you have questions? we get it…

  • Is this an art project?

    • Yep, this is art….

  • Is this project real?

    • It’s not a joke, prank or elaborate stunt. Trust me, this is a lot of work!

  • Why are you doing this?

    • Not only do I want to do something positive with mineral rights that have landed in my lap–but I know other mineral rights owners who do not want to be implicated on the ongoing despoiling of the environment and climate change.

    • There are few options: we either have to sell to people who happily support extraction or retain the assets quietly. Environmental/climate nonprofits frequently decline those who try to donate their mineral rights and royalties because these assets are antithetical to their missions and they are complicated to manage. We can do better and we can do more if we gather our interests together

    • The Landman for the Planet idea is for mineral rights owners, who generate wealth from extraction, or its future value, will support the climate movement. This notion is seen by the old school and established securities commissions as absurd. I’ve spoken to one and he told me I was nuts! But I believe many of us want a meaningful role in creating a desirable future. Let's find each other and join forces.

  • Why do you have the expertise to accomplish this?

    • I have experience turning crazy ideas into reality. Check out allthewaytohell.com.

    • I have no specialist expertise in mineral rights; however, I am a member of the National Association of Royalty Owners and the American Association of Professional Landmen.

    • I am actively assembling a cadre of trusted advisors with domain expertise.
